Best of Mediterranean, creating supreme dining experiences featuring delicious homemade food and fantastic service, announced today that it is offering franchise opportunities across the U.S. The restaurant’s authentic Mediterranean cuisine has been a big hit with diners and catering clients in L.A., where two locations are flourishing.

Best of Mediterranean opened its first location in 2006 in downtown L.A., building on the 20 years of restaurant experience of the Krikorian family. Everything is made from scratch using fresh ingredients…nothing out of cans. Menu favorites are grilled kabobs, falafel, shawerma (a rotisserie of fresh filet mignon, sliced and marinated with Mediterranean spices), and manti (a dumpling stuffed with ground meat, marinated and baked Mediterranean-style, unique to Best of Mediterranean).

“Our concept immediately caught on, both with diners and with people who were interested in replicating our success,” said Greg Krikorian, CEO and founder of Best of Mediterranean. “I decided to see how easy it would be to open a second location using the first as a model, even though I had no experience actually running a restaurant.”

The Westside location has been open for couple months, but it’s already exceeded Krikorian’s expectations, confirming that Best of Mediterranean has found the recipe for restaurant success.
